Call for Abstracts

Submissions are requested for contributed abstracts, which will be presented in oral and poster sessions.
Submission of an abstract implies that the authors are committed to attend the meeting and present the work.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Mussel Congress Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of acceptance by email.

SUBMISSION
Participants are invited to make submission of a contributed abstract. The submitting author must be the abstract presenter.
Submissions should be submitted to [email protected]
THEMES
Authors may choose any of the following themes for their submission:
1) Mussel Hatchery and Nursery
2) Mussel Grow out
3) Mussel Post-harvest, Biotechnology, Management and Policy Studies

LANGUAGE OF SUBMISSION
Abstracts must be submitted in English only.
REGISTRATION
The Secretariat shall provide information on registration.
BOOK OF ABSTRACTS
Accepted abstracts will be published in a Book of Abstracts. By submitting an abstract, authors agree to publication of the same by the 1st Philippine Mussel Congress.
PRESENTATION
Each oral presentation will be 15 minutes long. A Powerpoint is normally requested for all oral presentations. At the end of each Session, an Open Forum shall follow. Presenters are advised to strictly adhere to allotted time of presentation. A meeting staff shall remind presenters of the time left through time signages.
Presenters are advised to email their presentations not later than 24 October 2018 to [email protected] for uploading to the venue computer. Otherwise, presenters are requested to visit the Secretariat booth at least one hour before the scheduled presentation.
Posters will be on display in the meeting venue. Posters should be in printed format. Poster size will be confirmed with acceptance.
Alternative/creative presentation formats are also invited for both oral and poster sessions, including storytelling, science-dance, poetry, and others.
